Our last blog entry talked about ‘Physical Distancing’ compared to ‘Social Distancing.’ We focused on our great need for connection and relationship and how without it, we are at risk for other health problems like depression, anxiety, and loneliness.
Today's post is fully dedicated to one of the great ways we’re making human connection happen: Our very own Love FoCo Virtual Happy Hour.
Every Thursday evening from 8:30-9:30 pm LoveFoCo is hosting a virtual happy hour for lovers of Fort Collins microbreweries!
We realize these aren’t typical happy hour timeframes, but everything is changing these days. The best part is, it’s all BYOB!
Currently, the group is facilitated by a leader who encourages conversation and personal connection, but as the group and interest grows, speakers will be invited in to share from their various levels of expertise. We'll invite business, medical, spiritual, and government experts to speak about a current topic as we engage with one another and share our favorite drinks.
In the days to come, we hope this spins off into a variety of virtual happy hours where connection and relationship can be created.
Until then—follow this link for our virtual happy hour on the ‘zoom’ platform (your first use may require a quick download):
See you on Thursday, March 26th at 8:30 pm!
